Newport News FC Travel Soccer Club is proud to offer some of the finest camp programs available in Virginia. Every camp we offer is staffed professionally by our Club's Director of Coaching and other USSF and NSCAA Licensed coaches. Our camp programs are held exclusively for our members. They are specifically designed to develop our player's individual technical skill and decision making. In addition, each camp is highly instructional and every participant benefits because we use proven national and international teaching methods.

Below is a summary of each program.

The Newport News FC Winter Academy Program is one of the most comprehensive and affordable camp programs available. The NNFC Winter Academy curriculum is designed exclusively for current U10 - U14 players and focuses on developing and improving individual ball skill, 1 v 1 play and tactical awareness in small group environments. Additionally players are grouped by team and/or ability level so they have a chance to learn and play with other players their age. The 2007-2008 Winter Academy Camp training dates are December 4, 6, 11 ,13, 18, & 20 and January 8, 10, 15, & 17.

Participants of this program participate in 10* professionally staffed training sessions for the price of what a 5-session camp generally costs. Additionally, all participants in this camp train under Nationally Licensed Coaches and former Olympic Development Program Coaches and Evaluators. The 2007 Winter Academy Camp program will begin on December 4th. The camp will be held at Sanford Elementary in December & Dozier Middle School in January from 6-7:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cost of the Winter Academy camp is $90.00 AND can be paid the first night of camp. All checks should be made payable to "NNFC." Space is limited, so register early.

The Hampton Roads Indoor Soccer Championships are held each winter during January and February in Newport News. Each year, approximately 100 boy's and girl's travel teams participate in unique one-day tournaments held for each age group and gender. The tournaments are held at Julie Conn Gym -- one of the areas premier indoor soccer venues. Every Newport News FC team participates in this program.

The Indoor Soccer (Futsal) League is held every winter from January through March and provides our players and teams the opportunity to learn and develop playing the exciting indoor soccer game called Futsal. Since this is a Newport News based league all U10-U14 travel teams participation. Futsal is a proven soccer development tool made popular in Brazil. This league is fast and fun and every player who participates improves their skill and decision making speed.
