FC Junior Academy!
We are proud to offer professionally staffed Academy training programs for girls and boys beginning at age 4.
All Newport News FC Academy training programs are specifically designed to provide young players proper skill development training necessary to play soccer properly. Emphasis in each program is on individual skill development (technical) and tactical development in small group games.
Below you will find information about our Junior Academy program. Our Developmental Academy is similar but includes league games.

Junior Academy for Boys & Girls Ages 4-6
Our Junior Academy Program is especially designed for all boys and girls players ages 4, 5 and 6. The program is taught by professionally licensed coaches and is intended to introduce the basic skills needed to play competitive soccer to all beginning players. The program consists of two 1-hour training sessions per week; approximately 12 training sessions. Training days are generally Mondays and Wednesdays from
5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The cost of this program is $100.00 for the Fall and $100.00 for the Spring Seasons.
The Spring season begins in March and ends in May.
The Fall season begins in September and ends in November.
As players advance through the Junior Academy they will be placed in the Developmental Academy,
preparing them for travel team participation by age 9.

Please include your child's name on the check. Uniforms for this program can be used
for several years and can be ordered when your child is accepted into the program.
